Synopsis:

Nicola and Rosario are two brothers who have come to Rome from the South of Italy. They work as motor mechanics, but their great passion is boxing. Nicola, already a professional boxer, sees boxing as a sport which you must prepare yourself for with great severity and seriousness, while Rosario sees it as the only alternative in order to escape from a life of sacrifices and obscurity.

Rosario is involved with Fiamma, a young actress awaiting her big break. He often uses one of the cars left at the workshop when he works to take her out and one evening he takes the car belonging to some dubious characters.

Nicola discovers that drugs have been hidden in the car and that his brother, if involved in a scandal, would no longer be able to take part in the knock-out rounds for the Seoul Olympics, thereby relinquishing a promising sporting career forever.

After a series of up and downs, Nicola manages to save Rosario’s skin and make sure that his brother takes part, successfully, in the Olympic selections.
