Synopsis:

In order to flee the misery of the countryside, Miguel arrives in Barcelona, where he tries his hand at many trades.. But he wants to get rich quick and discovers the best way to do this is to become a bullfighter. After studying, he manages to court fame and is soon feted in high circles, at last earning the kind of money he always dreamed about, although it means taking great risks in the ring. But Miguel starts to tire of his chosen career, but it will be too late to escape the tragic conclusion of his brief career.
