Synopsis:

Chiara lives with her youngstes sister, her teenage brother, and her mother. Her father lives on his own, but takes the children on amusing adventures when he's not stressing over work. Chiara gets along with her sister and brother, though her brother is always dealing with girl problems. Her mother is a struggling writer, but must take a job as a telephone advice line operator. Complexities at work and at home prevent life from ever being dull, and the family always pulls through things together.
