Synopsis:

Diego Mastrangelo, profession: assistant Public Prosecutor. A lawyer of sterling character, with a fine instinct and iron discipline, in his private life he is an incorrigible bachelor, lover of the pleasures of the table, fine wines, and good living. We will see him torn between judicial cases and personal affairs more or less amusing, but never banal, against the charming backdrop of Baroque Lecce.
After ten years spent in Milan, our Judge will struggle to feel at ease with the customs of southern Italy. He will long regret the Milanese way of working, the typically northern discretion in personal and professional relationships, the severity when applying regulations and laws. But, warmed by the sun, enchanted by the dazzling colours of Puglia, seduced by the warmth of the people, intrusive, indiscrete, lazy as you will, but always cordial, helpful and tolerant, he will be won over by “its” land, the customs and traditions of provincial life which not only has he never stopped loving, but which are the characteristic traits of his way of investigating.
