Synopsis:

The Last Bullet is a challenge between a serial killer and a man of the law, between good and evil, between the intuition and courage of a police officer and the dangerous nature of a dog let loose. A chess game which from the very first moment seems to recognise one invisible winner only, who with every move leaves a wake of blood behind without logic and without reason. A game which severely tries the men involved in the case, the waiting, the crisis and the desire to start again, to fight, not to give up until the dramatic “face to face” between the law and the ruthless killer..
The Last Bullet, freely inspired by a true crime story, tells of the weeks of incessant and agitated investigations which led the Genoa police force to the identification and arrest of the killer Bilancia after a series of 17 murders, thanks in part to innovative analysis techniques. But above all else, it is the story of a Police Capitan, Stefano Riccardi (played by Giulio Scarpati) , a man not reconciled with his past and involved in a “mission impossible” which he will manage to resolve only by involving himself in the stakes at play.
